Cracker Barrel Old Country Restaurant in Lakeville

Nelson is a great server. The Sunday Fried Chicken was delicious and there was quite a bit left to take home. We will eat here again.

Awesome food that is just like home cooked meals. Large variety of menu items and great choice of sides. The wait is sometimes long so I would recommend calling for reservations and then check in upon arrival. Nice gift shop,very unique items but the gift shop is kind of expensive but the food is very reasonable. Loved it,will definitely go back!

My grandpa and I always come here. The biscuits and cornbread can't be redeemed for anything. They are dryer than my humor. You could dunk them in a glass of water and they are still dryer than the Sahara desert. The hamburger steak was "pathetic and hockey puck-like. You could eat a leather belt easier than that steak. It's probably the cheapest meat they could buy, and they always make it well done, regardless of how you order it". We like to mess around in the gift shop though. We also enjoy being the youngest people in there. Our advice: don't go there anywhere near 4pm. That's when the old people come out to play.

WORST MOTHER'S DAY EXPERIENCE EVER!!!! I made the wrong mistake of ordering online. When I arrived at the restaurant, there were too many people inside the restaurant waiting for their online orders. The restaurant was not honoring the 6 feet social distancing or five customers in the restaurant at a time, and the staff was not communicating effectively with their customers. The staff was swamped with orders and incredibly rude to their customers! I overheard staff tell a customer that " I don't know when your order will be ready" in a rude mannerism. After waiting an hour and 15 minutes, I decided to ask for my money back. The staff needs to learn how to provide respectful customer service. I completely understand that we are facing a tough time with the pandemic, and it is a stressful time for all of us, but without customers, this restaurant would not be open. We all need to be kind and respectful of one another.

Wonderful service by Lexi! Best family establishment! Reminds me of living down south, especially the sweet tea and rocking chairs! So glad they recently opened their dining room back up😉 fyi- they're doing a great job with social distancing and all staff had masks 😷 !

Food is typically really good. I have had 1 incident where the food was cold and the workers were really moody (mothers day) but most of my experiences here have always been amazing 👏

Stopped in for breakfast with my daughter. They have a good selection of breakfast choices. Food came quickly and was prepared as ordered. Excellent taste. Staff was friendly and attentive.

Absolutely love the food here. Annoyed only because one of our kids spilled his milk and I asked the hostess for a towel so I could clean it up and she rolled her eyes at me like I was asking for a million dollars and told me to go find my waitress.....she had two towels literally sitting at the hostess counter with her in plain view. I explained to her that I was asking her because I couldn't find my waitreas anywhere. So I walked away and came back after still not finding our waitress and just took the towel from her stand and cleaned up the mess myself. Rude and lazy. Otherwise the food and everything else is soooo good.

Good food, like usual. Their menu is kind of confusing until the waitress told me I could just substitute the things I wanted.

The service was very good. Karen our server was informative and patient! The gift shop is worth the 40min drive! I had chicken fried steak with veggies my boss had chicken fried chicken! Too much portions! Black take home boxes were required!! Will come back to try breakfast!!

Excellent old fashioned country cooking. Antique decor and special gift shop makes this a unique place for a fun meal.

The food was delicious, except they had a bacon flavor to the Green beans. So we were not impressed with that. Otherwise the General Store was a wonderful place to shop.

Great place to eat. The food is delicious and very filling. Best country fried steak. They also have the best selection of old fashioned candy, that you can't find any where else.

Ate at the Cracker Barrel in Lakeville, MN. This was the best experience I have had eating out since the pandemic began! Tables were social distanced and very impressed with cleaning when guests left. Thank you for making our group feel comfortable!

Spent 4 years down south for the military. Went to alot of Cracker Barrels. Everyone of those gave discounts for a plethora of different groups. This one however does not. Not sure if this is a privately owned Cracker Barrel or not. Anyway, the food was ok. My wife's chicken looked like it was put in a vice and compressed into a quarter inch chunk of chicken. To be honest, folks from the south need to come up here and teach these folks true southern cooking. Not sure if I will make another special trip here from Wisconsin. Would drive to Clarksville cracker barrel.

Love this Restaurant / Store. Food is always awesome. Staff couldn't be nicer. Can't wait till next time.

We had an excellent feeling. The food was just great. We enjoyed every moment and we will visit this place again.

Today was a miss for Crackle Barrel meatloaf. My daughter found two pieces of bony like substance in hers. That killed her appetite. They did take it off our bill and replaced it with a cheese burger, unfortunately, that was swimming in grease. I liked my fish and loaded sweet baked potato.
